Loving Cousins & Siblings

Little Bear had just eaten a chocolate biscuit when she decided that cousin Monkey needed some loving -

Cheetah wanted to pose for a photo on the back of Grandad's ute ('pick-up' for those who don't speak Australian) when Dragon saw an opportunity to pose with one of his favourite people.

All of the children think it is special to play on the tray of the ute, while it is stationary of course. Little Bear and Dragon found they could beat out a cool duet rhythm on the roof of the cab.

Dragon getting gardening tips from Lion, the garden destroyer helpful little pruner -

In spite of occasional little jealousies over things like who gets to cuddle baby Monkey or Grandma or Grandad, they really get on well. The older ones are very helpful and tolerant of the younger ones and I feel really blessed to have such gorgeous grandkids.

Troublemaker Monkey

This is Little Bear.

This is Dragon.

and this is THE LOOK Little Bear gave Dragon -

THE LOOK means,
"Back off, I was here first!" or maybe,
"Nyah! nyah! nyah! nyah!" or maybe,
"Eat your heart out, Loser!"

And this is the cause of the dissension.

Troublemaker, Monkey.

Baby Yoda, I think this is.

Today we had the whole clan - well our little part of the clan - at home for afternoon tea. I finally got to see Yoda. . . I mean Monkey, with his eyes open. Well they are sort of open. He is a sleepy baby when he is out and about. He is a snuggley little guy though. I'm sure MMcT (and Wolf) have successfully produced another cuddle bug.
More photos to come in the next few days. I promise.

Not enough baby.

Since all of my photos of Monkey McTavish are now 2 weeks or more old. I think it is high time that I visited the McTavish household and took some new Monkey photos. In the mean time, maybe Mummy McTavish will post some current photos. I'm sure he has already changed a lot.
That is a hint :)

Bear Cub

Today Little Bear and Cheetah spent an afternoon and evening at the Dragonlady Grotto.

I think they enjoyed themselves.

Cheetah spent most of the time playing a computer game, that is when he wasn't eating.

Little Bear practised opening and closing the gate. It worked better with her tongue out.

Little Bear also practised tree climbing and using her feminine wiles on Grandad. He was her obedient slave.

Time for a little posing.....

........and lots of giggling......

.......and eating some yummy choc chip muffins. The muffin cups get turned into "the dreaded cup cake monster" who tries to tickle and causes lots more giggling.

Then, being a very INDEPENDENT YOUNG LADY, Little Bear washes her own face.......
........ as well as all of the dusty patio furniture with my nice white washer.

It used to be white, like when I got it out of the drawer.

She's beautiful with or without choc muffin on her face.

Monkey McTavish

Isn't he just beautiful? No need to answer that because we know.

He is a good baby. His brothers are besotted with him especially Dragon who can't get enough of holding him, stroking his face, staring doe-eyed at him . . .

Of course Mummy and Daddy are pretty happy about it all too. Like I said, he is a good baby. He likes to sleep (so far). Therein lies my problem.

I just want to get a photo with his eyes OPEN.

Hurry up and . . . . wait.

Waiting . . .

Waiting . . .

Waiting . . .

Waiting . . .

Waiting . . .

And then . . .

Welcome Baby McTavish!

Overwhelmed with love.
